TV Shows

Newton The Puppet is a jack of all trades. Not only does he perform "Puppet Story Time" throughout the South Shore, he is also the host of a community access TV show, "Newton's Neighbors". Trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, Newton interviews members of the community to explore different jobs and what makes people passionate about what they do.

Newton also was the host of "Our Nation's Transformation: Beyond The Talking Points". This show is geared to adults, as the theme is the intersection of politics & spirituality - with a PUPPET interviewing the guests. As Gandhi said, "politics should be sacred." Newton agrees with Marianne Williamson's take on politics: "We should participate in politis with the same level of consciousness as that which we bring to love, and therapy, and parenting, and all of our mmost important and meaningful pursuits. We should bring all of ourselves to politics. We should bring our hearts and minds and deepest dedication to something bigger than ourselves." Our goal in this show is to reflect this high ideal.

Newton With His Light Saber

Previously, Newton performed in an entertaining, albeit short-lived community access TV show called "Lighten Up", which is an original series produced by Harbor Media. "Episode 1: David & Goliath" is currently showing on a YouTube screen near you. (See below.)

And to kick off Newton's illustrious television career, Newton starred in "May The Force Be With You" (co-starring Fisher Roman). These shows were created in affiliation with Mom, an iPad, and iMovie.
